Office Manager

The Job:

Being the office manager at Humblestorm may include anything and everything – you will essentially be the one keeping this place on track, while making it the best workplace ever, for you and all your colleagues. Your tasks and areas of responsibility will vary. Ultimately, we see this role being shaped for you, by you. To start off with, we do have a list of commitments (basically the usual things that comes with being an office manager).

You will:

  • Be a nice person (everybody loves those). It might be a cliché at this point, but as an office manager you’re really the one pulling all the strings around this place, so it’s important to be nice.
  • Greet and look after our visitors (mostly clients and sometimes someone’s kids, mom, or whatever).
  • Organize and coordinate the daily running of the office.
  • Be responsible for purchasing office supplies and anything else we might need.
  • Be responsible for incoming and outgoing goods (like mail and courier-services).
  • Be the contact person and manager for suppliers that concern the property’s maintenance, machinery and equipment.
  • Manage travel bills, contracts and assist in other administrative duties.
  • Be responsible for purchasing food and organizing breakfasts at the office.
  • Assist project managers and the CFO when time permits.
  • Be your own lovely, smart, fun, humble self!

About You: 

The best thing about not knowing you, quite yet, is for us to get familiar with all those fierce qualities that no one other than you possess. However, we assume that you a few talents: Experiences translated into confidence, making this job the best one you ever had – and you into the best office manager we ever had!

  • You know who you are (it might sound obvious, but we value people who are true to themselves).
  • You’ve had a similar role before – office manager, receptionist, event staff etcetera. This isn’t a deal breaker but nevertheless a bonus. Frankly, you might have been working as a doctor for the past 10 years (who knows), or you just finished school, but you’re curious about the advertising industry.
  • You’re social. Outspoken. Flexible.
  • You’re service minded and ready take your own initiatives.
  • You’re a curious person, eager to learn new things.
  • You’re humble.
  • You’re responsible. Structured (at least 98% of the time). Thought-through when it comes to planning and handling situations that others would consider “stressful”.
  • You’re a team player.
  • You’re not allergic to dogs (our CD’s owns a corgi named Zeus).
  • You’re not allergic to peanuts (just kidding, that’s absolutely fine).
  • You’re fluent in Swedish and English (other language skills are obviously a merit).
  • You know how to get around in Microsoft Office.

Copywriter

The Job:

Working at Humblestorm you’re in for a fun ride. It’s a rollercoaster of projects big and small, working with your 20 (approximately) colleagues. As a part of our creative team you will mostly use your out-side-the-box-thinking and your keyboard as working tools – while it may require both your hands and feet some days (who knows what it takes to bring your ideas to life?). If that sounds like something you could master, then here’s a list of things you’d be doing:

  • Work B2B and B2C. 
  • Work in various agency teams eg. Working with Art Directors, Project Managers, Planners (and of course, sometimes by yourself).
  • Produce text and develop concepts in various projects (both in Swedish and English).
  • Create presentations/pitches/campaigns.
  • Execute campaigns that stretches over different channels.

About You: 

We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience as a copywriter in advertising. You are experienced in communication in all its forms: digital, event, film, and you’re always eager to learn more. You have excellent writing skills and a knack for developing (and arguing for) ideas and concepts, both B2B and B2C. Just like us, you’re all about building long-term client relationships built on great work and respect. Last but not least: You stand firmly with both feet on the ground and you’re not afraid to get your hands a little dirty. 

  • You’re humble, curious. 
  • You have confidence in yourself and your work.
  • You’re used to be getting feedback on your work.
  • You’re ready to focus on the client, regardless of the conditions.
  • You’re responsible. Structured (at least 98% of the time) and able to handle situations that others would consider “stressful”.
  • You’re a team player.
  • You’re fluent in Swedish and English (other language-skills are obviously a merit).
  • You’re amazing (no really!).

Project Manager (Event)

The Job:

One of our core agency functions is event production, and we’ve managed quite a few of them over the years. Some have been of smaller kind, while the projects of today tend to be more extensive: a complex but fun process. This includes everything from client briefing to strategy and creation to actually executing the whole shebang.

Let’s assume that you’re familiar with the role of being a project manager (we believe that you have a minimum of 5 years’ experience from a similar position). However, here’s a list of things that you will spend your time doing:

  • Working with and leading event productions within B2B.
  • Having command of projects, leading teams, pitching ideas etc.
  • Building long-term relationships and being a reliable partner to your clients and their customers.
  • Manage colleagues, agency-teams and external partners.
  • Negotiate agreements.
  • Identify new business opportunities (both existing clients and new).
  • Being responsible for budgets and results.

About You:

Coordinator

The Job:

 

Work is work. But as a coordinator at Humblestorm, it will never feel like you’re just going to your daily grind. Because you will be the person with the most going on– and if the office is quiet, you know exactly how to make things happen. There are a few things we always ask from a coordinator. Find them listed below.
 
  • You’re a problem-solver. 
  • Backing up project managers and directors: tasks ranging from understanding what the client wants and needs (eg. supporting them in planning and briefing creatives) to making phone calls and arranging meetings.
  • Budgeting. Making sure each project is on track in terms of numbers.
  • Administration (sounds boring, but actually we all need some administration in our lives).

About You:

You are you, and you do it better than anybody else. We want you to be the best you can be, at home and at work – so we hope that the characteristics listed below are things you’d sign off on. That would make work easier for us and more fun for you. 

 
  • You’re a positive problem-solver by nature.
  • You’ve had a similar role before, or maybe you haven’t? It’s not a requirement, actually.
  • You’re good with people. Good with numbers, letters.
  • You’re detail-oriented.
  • You’re responsible. Structured (at least 98% of the time). Expertly organized when it comes to planning and handling situations that others would consider “stressful”.
  • You’re humble, yet not afraid of letting your voice be heard.
  • You understand the entire journey and that there always will be highs and lows.

  • You adapt easily and happily – you understand that work can vary from day to day.
  • You’re fluent in Swedish and English (other language skills are obviously a merit).
